PatentNexus provides access to patent data via a REST API. Data is sourced from USPTO public records. We also provide AI-generated content including summaries and technology extraction.
API access is pay-per-request using prepaid credits. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per request. There are no subscriptions and no minimum commitments. Credits do not expire.
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds on unused credits.
AI-generated content — including patent summaries, technology extraction, and prior art analysis — is provided as-is without warranty. Do not rely on it for legal decisions. Always verify against the source patent documents.
Patent data is sourced from USPTO public records. We make reasonable efforts to keep data current but do not guarantee completeness or accuracy.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent rate limits, or use the API for harmful purposes. Unused credit balances at time of suspension are non-refundable.
